Merry Christmas (well late)

So the holiday's def. became more busy with a baby around. It's a good kind of busy, but now I can relate to the other parents when it comes to understanding just how hard it is to make sure everyone has seen "the baby". I am warning you, this will be a lengthy post, so strap in, let's go for a ride.

Friday-Sunday(Dec 21st)- We loaded up the car and headed for Brownwood, Texas.. well about 30 miles out of brownwood, to go to John's aunt and uncles land to go Deer hunting. Joshua slept the ENTIRE 4 hour trip, so you can only imagine the night we had once we arrived. We were ready to go to bed, and he was not. We joined John's parents.. aka Mamaw and Paapaw and while we were all trying to go to sleep Joshua would just giggle! Saturday, the boys (minus Joshua) went out about 6am in hopes of claming the life of a Deer, Daddy came real close... Then we went into Brownwood, ate some AMAZING bbq at a place called Underwoods, and then back to the land so Daddy and Paapaw could give it a whirl again... no luck- so we all hung around and visited, and then then our final morning there- Paapaw shot a buck, and about 10 minutes later, daddy shot a doe! So needless to say, they had good luck. Here is some pictures of us down at the land! :) We had a great time! It was very relaxing for all 5 of us!! John would probably LOVE It if I posted the gory pics for all to see, but I'm not going too...

Sunday (21st) We arrived back in town sometime around 3pm, and took naps, then had our family pictures taken at 7pm at Portrait Innovations.. they turned out so good!

Monday (22nd) Joshua got to meet Macy! It was so cute to see them play together and enjoy each others company- we didn't get any pictures of that--scroll down though

Tuesday (23rd) We finished up Christmas shopping and hanging out with family, and relaxed to prepare for the big day!

Wednesday (24th) Christmas Eve: Mommy worked until noon, and then we lounged around and yet again, took naps. We then went over to Mommy's Uncle's house to meet some more new family members... Joshua got to meet Great Aunt Renee, Great Uncle Bill, Great Uncle Buddy, and cousin Stephen.. by this time he had already met Macy, David, Joe, and Will... it was a great time!! We had to have the kiddos open up their presents before dinner so they wouldn't melt...

Christmas Morning- Joshua opened up his stocking with Mommy and Daddy, and then headed off to Nana and Papa's house! After that, we headed to Mommy's grandma's house, then off to ODonnell to have Christmas there. I got to see family again! The only new person I met was Cousin Casey, oh and Uncle Ricky! Let's just say I was the center of attention. I also go to meet Amy and Eric's dog PJ, and we had a ball together. After that, we came home and Nana and Papa and Auntie Rin came over to play Wii with Mommy and Daddy, and then we all went back to bed!!!

Thank you all so much for sharing in Joshua's first Christmas with us! We will never forget who took the time out of their busy lives to share in the monumental occasion for me and John. Also thank you EVERYONE for being good to us! Santa spoiled the tar out of all three of us and we really appreciate all the gifts!!!... my next post will be all about Joshua turning one.. .This friday he turns 1!!! Can you all believe this? You have followed this blog since before Joshua was born, and now we are all getting ready to celebrate the 1 yr birthday of our precious little man!!!
