1yr!

Yes, you're right....Joshua is 1 yr old today! This has been one of the most fabulas years in my entire life. Me and John have often asked ourselves how we ever did life without Joshua! He completes us!

1 yr old!!!

Here it is, 7:45am, and this time last year, I had no idea what the Lord had in store for me. I didn't know that I was going to have a VERY emergancy c-section...Had no idea! I am still letting go of the slight anger of that whole situation, but I know that the Lord had his hand in it, and that is the divine way Joshua was meant to be born. This year has been amazing!!!

Today, at 1 yr old Joshua can:
Crawl super fast
Say bye bye, mama, dada, nana, dog, and (i swear) whatsthat, and there
Sleep thru the night
Has 6 teeth, including the one thats cutting, and 7 if you include the one thats about to cut
Is so close to walking
Eats table food
Has had his first bottle of milk
Has attitude like none other
Laughs HARD
Loves to play hide-in-seek, and chase
LOVES bathtime
Talks alot
Gets into everything
Can kiss
Has a lovey
Can wave

My letter to Joshua-

Joshua,
My sweet baby boy, today you turned 1. I am so happy to be your mommy. This past year has been the best year in our lives. You have allowed us to see the very hand of God working in you. It started off by you showing us just what a little toot you were, to how much God just has in store for you. I remember this time last year, and the anticipation I felt. The anxiety. Wondering who you were going to look like, what color hair you would have, what color eyes...I remember holding you for the first time and just taking in the fact that you were mine! I remember thanking God for you, and I still do. I remember the first time you opened your eyes and looked at me, nothing else in the world mattered. I love you precious baby! You are our world. I have loved watching you learn to smile, laugh, talk, crawl, eat big boy food, and just watch your eyes filled with wonder. It seems like just yesterday, me and Daddy were bringing you home, and now, you are such a big boy! I am so honored to be your Mommy, and everyday I thank God for bringing you into our lives. I know God has big things in store for you, and when the world tries to tell you otherwise, you hold onto the faith in Jesus that we have already begun to instill in you!! We love you perfect one, but more than us, God loves you more!! Happy 1st Birthday sweet Joshua!
