Wow. 2 years.... I am all choked up! I never realized just how much Joshua meant to us. Last night on our way home from some family of mine (casey), we were in a car wreck. The truck was NOT paying attention and was leaving a parking lot, and t-boned our car. He hit the passenger side, which I was sitting on, and yes Joshua was in the car. Time froze as we knew there was NO way we were not going to be hit. All we could think about was "God please protect our precious baby!" and he did! We are all okay. The car isn't....I am hurting in my right arm and leg, but God is victorious because it should and could of been worse! We were protected by God's hand and we thank him for that. But in that moment, we realized just how much we loved our son and how much he means to us!
It has flown by WAY to fast. This year has been remarkable. Each day we wake up, we thank God for the blessing of Joshua! Take a look back on this past year with us. We will start at the most recent, and work our way back!....
As an early birthday present, Nana and Papaw bought him his first pair of cowboy boots. They have Woody and Buzz on them from Toy Story the movie.. he loves them needless to say!
This christmas was so much fun! To see the twinkle in your precious baby's eyes with all the magic that Christmas holds is worth it! God has blessed us immeasurably more than we deserve with Joshua!

Joshua was so excited to open presents on Christmas morning, but before opening gifts we thought it would be smart to feed the lil guy first! Look at his excitement!
This year Joshua saw SNOW for the first time...Not just flakes on the ground, but snow!!! he LOVED IT!!!!! He got a white Christmas!

Regardless of what his face says here...He has grown to really love to be in the laundry basket, and him and tigger swing!

Halloween was a hoot. He is really into Cowboy's...so he LOVED being Woody from Toy Story...
my Precious cousin Tamara threw a halloween party, and she dressed him up...I came to pick him up from class and saw him dressed as this!
Reading is one of Joshua's favorite things...Papaw was reading to him here! 
To look into this little boy's eyes and to see the Mercy and Grace, and plans of the Lord makes my heart Melt. Ladies and Gentlemen, God is going to do BIG things thru our Joshua!
4th of July was so much fun! He loved the parade! 
He moved into his Big Boy Bed at 15 months and has slept spectacular since!
We are ready for the summer to take our little dude swingin again!
This was Joshua at 15 months. He couldn't walk in this picture. He hadn't gained the confidence to do so, and then 4 days after this picture was taken, he took off! To imagine how the Lord feels when he looks at us....I understand a smidge when I see Joshua accomplish something!
And here was our precious baby this time last year, celebrating his 1st birthday! He has changed so much! 
And we will NEVER forgot January 2nd, 2008 at 8:46am when Joshua entered this world in what seemed a very scary way. Joshua did not enter the way we pictured he would (seeing as I am on a surgical table in the next picture) but God is victorious and he had to remind us that HIS plans are higher and better than OURS! 
Here is Joshua... 21 1/4th inches long... 6 1/2 pounds!! The biggest blessing we never imagined could be so wonderful!

Nothing is more capitivating and more powerful than looking into the eyes of your child..the child you created with God, and the person you love the most!
We sometimes wish we could go back in time to this moment when he was soooo tiny, but we know that what is ahead is just as wonderful!

And although you are right in the middle of testing just how big you are, we wouldn't change it for the world. You are the biggest blessing we could ever have. Our desire is for you to seek the Lord with everything in you and to praise him for how powerful he is. He is more crazy about you than we are, and that is saying alot! Joshua you have wow'ed us this year, you have shown us just how much personality you do have, and you have given us lots of laughter and tears of Joy. As tomorrow comes we pray that it would be spectacular for you.
