So for all you picture addicts of the cutest baby in the world, sorry this post will not contain any because blogger will not let me upload any! Yeah, I was quite upset as well.
Here are 16 things that I love about our 16 month old!
1. Joshua gets into everything! He knows exactly what he is not allowed to get into, and gets into it.
2. Joshua gives kisses and hugs! They are the best!
3. Joshua clearly says our names! Its so wonderful, but at the same time just makes it harder because while we are letting him cry it out in bed sometimes, he calls our names!
4. Joshua loves to play hide and seek! He loves it when Mommy crawls around the house and hides and he gets to come find her.
5. Joshua loves daddy's game controllers. Its so cute, because he walks around the house holding them and pushing the buttons.
6. Joshua loves phones! He will walk around and hold it up to his ear and say... I (meaning Hi).. lol
7. He dances! To anything music related!
8. We even love him when he throws his fits.
9. We love it that Joshua can crawl into the bath on his own! When you cant find Joshua, more than likely he is sitting in an empty tub playing!
10. Joshua LOVES the outdoors!
11. Joshua's intense Joy when he sees his blankie come fresh out of the dryer after he's had to use a substitue white blankie !
12. We love the fact that Joshua looks like a angel when he sleeps, butt up in the air and all!
13. Joshua's new buzz cut! Mommy cried when she cut it, but its growing on us!
14. His extreme love for books!!! Joshua will grab a book, and come sit in your lap!
15. We love how he loves to sit in his monkey camping chair! He backs up and sits down for a minute and stands back up and repeats..
16. HE LOVES ELMO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so very thankful that God has allowed me to be this precious baby boys mommy! I sometimes wonder why God chose me to raise such a precious and perfect boy only because I do not think that I am that great of a Mommy! But apparently I mean the world to him because he lights up when I walk into a room! This little boy has taught me so much about God! His abundant love for us, and how God is with us at times! So thank you God for allowing me and John to join forces with the Lord in raising this precious boy!

thanks for your comments on maddox's blog. yes yes, that sermon series is great. we also spank maddox's hand, but he has started hitting, so we have begun time-outs as well. we are using a combination of light spanking and time-outs.....we are praying to see results soon and trying to be consistant...it sure is hard, but we all know it will be worth it in the long run. i hope we can get together sometime soon a chat...i'm sure we could learn from eachother as we are both new to everything!!
