So this past weekend was Easter, and we had an amazing time! Some cousins, along with my sister were in town, and on Saturday we got to go see Mamaw and Grandpa (John's Parents). Needless to say, the weekends always seem to wear us out, especially when a holiday just so happens to fall on one. BUT that being said, we had a superb time!

Friday Night: We went to Experience Life (our church) 2nd Annual Easter Egg Drop! It was insane! I think our church got a TON of negative publicity but it didn't really matter much! There will always be people out there that aren't happy! It was good!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Saturday: Went to John's Parents house for the day, and then to hang out with some family at their Hotel in the lobby! That was good to get to reconnect with some family of mine! Joshua and John got to meet Chad and Belinda and it was really nice to visit with them!

Sunday: Easter Sunday! We woke up REALLY early because EL started their 8:30am service, and we got dressed up, and of course dolled up Joshua! He got to get his Easter basket from me and John, and after church he got to try a Peep! He was blue! He reminded us of a little smurf! I think peeps are disgusting, but apparently Joshua likes them! Papaw will have someone to fight over Peeps with now!

So as you can see Joshua got really messy! The rest of the day we lounged around the house and took it easy!
Joshua has gotten so good at walking! He is running me ragged! I use to be able to rest (meaning sit on my lazy bottom) when he crawled... but now, I am constantly on the go! I guess you can say I am getting physical activity!
Joshua has begun teething some more of his molars- so therefore- we are back to the night waking again! A part of me LOVES to just love on him, but a itty bitty part of me knows we BOTH need our sleep... Zzzzzz.

Yes yes, when your schedule slows down, let me know and we will get together!! I am sure Joshua and Maddox will love to play together and I'd love to get to know you better also!! Hey, I was just thinking the other day, our sons are basically one week apart in age and we almost share the same wedding anniversary, just a year apart....i just thought that was so funny how close everything was for us!!
